Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pyrion Tech LLC (“Pyrion Tech,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the RunAway mobile application (the “App”) and the website at pyriontech.us (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Information processed on your device
RunAway processes information related to your use of the App entirely on your device. This information stays on your phone and is not transmitted to us. We keep no server-side copy of it and have no way to view it.
2. Information sent off your device
RunAway is designed to keep your information on your device. The single exception is that the App may send a small, anonymous value to our service in order to retrieve supportive on-screen text. This value contains no personal information — nothing that identifies you or what you were doing. Our service prepares that text using Anthropic's API, which processes only the generic, non-personal requests we send it. This applies to subscribers only; the free version of the App sends nothing.
3. Subscriptions and payments
RunAway offers a paid subscription with a free trial. We never see or handle your payment details. Purchases are processed by Google Play, and we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. These providers process purchase information under their own privacy policies. From them we may receive non-payment information such as an anonymous purchase identifier and your subscription status, which we use only to provide paid features.
4. Permissions
To function, the App asks for certain Android permissions. We use them only to provide the App's features, and any access they grant is handled on your device — it is not collected or transmitted to us:
- Usage access — to provide the App's core functionality.
- Display over other apps — to show the App's on-screen interface.
- Notifications — so the App can run reliably in the background.
- Battery optimization exemption (optional) — to help the App keep running.
5. What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don't show advertising.
- We don't embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the App.
- We don't build profiles of you or monitor you remotely.
6. The website
If you join our waitlist on the Site, we collect the email address you provide so we can notify you about RunAway's launch. Waitlist submissions are handled by our hosting provider, Netlify, and stored for that purpose. You can ask us to remove your email at any time (see Contact). Like most websites, our host may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and operations. We don't use advertising cookies.
7. Keeping and deleting your information
Because the App's information lives on your device, you control it directly: clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App removes that information from your phone. To cancel a subscription or request deletion of subscription-related records held by Google Play or RevenueCat, use your Google Play account or contact us. To remove your waitlist email, email us and we'll delete it.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves or as the law requires. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
